The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
Acts as principal liaison between visitors and an administrative office of a department. Provides direction and assistance, requiring thorough knowledge of departmental organization and procedures. Coordinates work of clerical staff, training new employees, scheduling and assigning work and the like.Responsibilities Position Summary: Provides reception and clerical support to the UR Medicine Center for Employee Wellness (CEW), primarily in the Biometric Screening Program. This position is pivotal to our continued success and growth because it is often the first contact with clients coming for screenings. Performs job duties on-site at UR and off-site at other employer locations, working independently with minimal direction from a direct supervisor. When not assigned to a biometric clinic, this person is responsible for general clerical duties in the URCEW, weekly on-site/off-site schedule will vary based on client and business need. Responsibilities: - Registers, update, and ensures the accuracy of client profiles in the electronic medical record for individuals presenting for a biometric screening. Assists walk-in clients with scheduling appointments at later time or on future day as schedule allows. - Manages the efficient flow of clients and processes at biometric clinics. Serves as a clinic information resource for both clients and clinical staff. Collaborates with clinical staff and site representatives to promptly address issues/concerns with schedules (availability and overbooking). - Assures excellent client experience at biometric clinics, including representing the wellness programs with positivity and enthusiasm. Familiar with appropriate department resources/information to accurately answer and refer client questions. - Assists site coordinator with packing/unpacking and transporting clinic materials; works with Biometric Nurse Supervisor to coordinate and organize clinic materials for multiple site locations, anticipating upcoming needs. - Attends departmental operations meetings. When applicable, provides feedback and recommendations on clinic success and challenges from the CEW staff's perspective and feedback from the host site and clients. - Provides general office support for departmental activities, including contacting clients and composing and handling routine correspondence using the electronic medical record system. May assist with reports and inventory/supply checks. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - High School education/graduation required - Some post-High School education or college preferred - 3-4 years of related work experience required. - 2 years of secretarial or office experience - or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred - Excellent customer service and communication skills. Proficient computer skills required - Experience with electronic medical records preferred. - Note -Proficiency with electronic medical records after 3-6 months is required. - Regular daily travel is an essential requirement of this position. Candidates must have a reliable means of transportation required.
