Job Responsibilities:
Content Creation of Marketing Campaigns
Create engaging content reflective of the College’s status as a leading art and design institution.
Collaborate with graduate directors on digital content for conferences and peer distribution.
Coordinate with Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions on admissions campaigns.
Engage high schools and feeder schools for workshops and recruitment events for all student levels.
Oversee the College’s Connect and Critique virtual events.
Recruitment Outreach
Act as primary liaison with high school art teachers nationwide, highlighting events like National Portfolio Day.
Maintain a detailed database of high school art teachers to target specific geomarkets.
Conduct presentations on the College’s programs both in-person and online.
Engage with prospective students through meetings both in-person and virtually.
Generate follow-up communication for prospective student inquiries.
Project Management and Data Evaluation
Perform data mapping prior to events to ensure correct data collection for registration.
Analyze event data to optimize programming, recruitment tactics, and messaging.
Track the effectiveness of communication efforts with analytic tools and share outcomes with relevant departments.
Coordinate data management with the Admissions offices to ensure accurate student records.
Other Duties
Contribute to university-wide recruitment events and promotional activities, occasionally involving night and weekend work.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferably in marketing, communication, public relations, English, journalism, or related field
3-5 years’ experience
Skills
Strong writing and communication skills.
Knowledge of HTML and ability to resize photo and graphic files for digital and print publications are required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and goal-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects.
Experience with Google Analytics and Mailchimp and Emma preferred.

Job Summary:
The RIT College of Art and Design seeks a creative and strategic communicator to join our marketing and communication team as a Recruitment Communications Specialist. This role will assist in managing our marketing efforts to attract talented students to our undergraduate and graduate programs and highlight the College’s status as a leading institution in art and design.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating dynamic content and executing targeted campaigns that will engage prospective students, their families, and other key influencers. You’ll play an integral role in implementing recruitment marketing initiatives from creating print and digital campaigns to hosting and supporting recruitment-related programming opportunities.
