Description Position SummaryThe Senior Interface Analyst participates in the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Epic Bridges interfaces and our Rhapsody Integration Engine. Responsibilities include data analysis, Bridges interface build, documentation of requirements, building and maintaining mapping tables, reporting, problem management and root cause analysis, business owner interaction for discovery and testing, development of documentation.The Interfaces Team is a high performing team comprised of members who take pride in working together and helping each other. We help our organization stay on the cutting edge of healthcare and put our IT savvy to work to make someone's job easier, and to improve the health of real people in our community.As a Senior Interface Analyst, you will be a key participant in many projects throughout the healthcare system and represent our team while helping define the direction of Interface and technical project efforts.A great candidate should be driven to solve problems, have outstanding attention to detail, be an effective communicator to technical and non-technical audiences, take pride in their work and accomplishments, utilize available resources, be adept at learning new IT systems, have experience coding, and be comfortable working independently and in project groups to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesFunctions as a bridge between customers, operations, vendors, application build teams, and other technical staff such as networking and system administration. Assists in the development and installation of in-house developed software.Assists in the integration of Epic, RRH systems and other healthcare related software using a crafty combination of Epic Bridges application and Rhapsody Interface Engine.Assists in the maintenance of application software that is the responsibility of the Information Services Department.Provides technical expertise to all IT members and potential members of the end-user community.Maintains a high degree of computer expertise.Performs other duties as assigned.Desired SkillsExtensive Experience with Integration Engines (Rhapsody Professional or Expert Certification a plus)Knowledge of HL7, X12, and other messaging formatsEpic Bridges Certification a plusKnowledge of Integrated Systems regarding EMR communication with Ancillary SystemsMinimum QualificationsMinimum of 2 - 4 years of previous computer experience, which should include programming experience.Strong analytical, computer, and communication skillsEDUCATION: BS (Required)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.PAY RANGE: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
