FIFCO USA Warehouse Coordinator in Rochester, New York
JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities to ensure efficient and safe workflow. In this role, you will be expected to complete shipping and receiving documentation according to company standards as well as maintain records of all dock activities with attention to detail and accuracy as a top priority.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate the loading/unloading dock activities and workflow of the forklift operators and drivers on the shift.
Create accurate and complete shipping/receiving paperwork.
Receive incoming materials, post transactions in company's inventory system, and coordinate the proper storage of materials.
Determine work assignments for forklift operators and provide them with necessary paperwork and instructions to complete the assigned task.
Communicate with yard/shuttle drivers on necessary trailer movement for shuttle trailers, dumpster drop boxes, etc.
Assist over-the-road drivers with directions to the facilities, make dock assignments, and coordinate loading/unloading of their trailers in accordance with applicable appointment times.
Prioritize loading/unloading activities to maximize output and minimize detention claims.
Create pick sheets, Bill of Ladings, receiving paperwork, etc. and file them according to company procedures.
Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging and report any damage or discrepancies to purchasing and affected department.
Participate in monthly cycle counts as well as perform needed inventory counts throughout the shift.
Troubleshoot inventory and production reporting discrepancies/order shortages and make necessary inventory transactions to correct.
Communicate with Wholesaler Support on customer order changes and shortages.
Communicate with Purchasing on purchase order changes and discrepancies.
Put together secondary product orders (comps, samples, and cooler room).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
General warehouse experience preferred.
Intermediate Microsoft Office abilities (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience/familiarity with BPCS preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a desk and computer, as well as frequent walking out to shipping/receiving docks.
Must be able to open/close bay doors, open/close trailer doors, set and remove dock plates, and climb up and down stairs.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
Must be able to work in extreme fluctuations of temperature in working environment (hot, muggle, cold, snowy and wet conditions).

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $20.00 – 23.00/hour, not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to enable future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package!
