Job Title: Equipment Operator (3rd Shift)

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a critical role within our distribution center that supports 85% of the volume for 230 stores and 90% of online orders. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various equipment to select and move products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the fulfillment process.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, stand up forklifts, turret trucks, electric pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

• Move and lift up to 50lb boxes of products and materials.

• Select items based on order sheets using the appropriate equipment for the item's location.

• Ensure accuracy in order picking and packing.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in order picking, material handling, and using RF scanners.

• Ability to operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Good attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.

• Comfortable working at heights using cherry pickers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No formal education is required.

• Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and organized warehouse environment that is not climate controlled. The facility is equipped with large industrial fans to enhance airflow, but it can be hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. Cell phones are only allowed during breaks and lunches, which can be enjoyed in a lunch area equipped with microwaves, a cantina for purchasing food and drinks, and lockers for personal belongings. Adherence to the dress code policy is required, including wearing closed-toed shoes and appropriate work attire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
