Summary:
We are seeking an experienced JDE CNC Administrator to join our global team. This role demands a strong background in application support, CNC activities, problem-solving, and technical project leadership. You will be responsible for maintaining and administering JD Edwards (JDE) ERP systems, including JDE Enterprise One client-server architecture and IBM iSeries AS400 DB2 database. The role also involves managing various integrated and non-integrated business systems within PCI Pharma Services.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the building and deployment of programming packages across multiple environments (development, test, production).
Create and maintain user profiles, security roles, and access controls. Experience with QSOFT or All Out Security tools is preferred.
Administer iSeries AS400 production, test, and DR systems, including backups, restores, tape rotations, data communications, and Mimix DR operations.
Provide administration, support, and maintenance for systems such as RF Gen Admin/Barcoding, Quality Management, Create Form, BI Publisher, TrackIT Help Desk, Helix Help Desk, MS BizTalk, ASRS WMS, Hubble Insight Reporting, and various web applications.
Install and maintain various SQL database applications.
Resolve system and technical issues through root cause analysis and documentation.
Issue communications and instructions to end-users as needed.
Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors and contractors.
Install and maintain JDE Fat Clients.
Manage and time daily jobs running in Robot and the JDE Job Scheduler.
Support system audits and maintain necessary documentation.
Assist with help desk ticket overflow as needed.
Provide backup for the Manager of Software Systems & Support.
Adhere to PCI - cGMP, GxP and GCP policies and procedures.
Regular attendance is required. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level support for applications, ensuring optimal performance and smooth operations.
Address complex application issues and escalate unresolved problems as needed.
Manage and prioritize incident tickets to ensure timely resolution.
Oversee routine maintenance, patches, and upgrades for application stability and security.
Monitor application performance, optimize efficiency, and implement tuning strategies.
Develop and maintain documentation for support processes, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge bases.
Prepare and present reports on application performance, incidents, and support activities.
Develop and deliver training materials to enhance user knowledge and application proficiency.
Lead and participate in application-related projects, including upgrades, integrations, and new implementations.
Identify and recommend improvements to enhance support efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to apply innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in JD Edwards (JDE) support, with a strong knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Technical Foundation tools and CNC functionality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A customer-first attitude to enhance satisfaction and maintain high service standards.
Ability to work effectively in a goal-oriented team environment.
Proficient in documenting complex business and technical issues.
