Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Controls Technician for a 1st shift position. You will work from 7 AM to 3 PM or 6 AM to 2:30 PM with a rotating weekend schedule announced on Thursdays. This role involves troubleshooting, editing, and programming automated equipment using PLCs, as well as the repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery to ensure efficient production lines.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, edit, and program Automated Equipment using PLCs (primarily Rockwell software).
Repair, maintain, and install machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production lines and operator workstations.
Integrate new software into existing machinery to increase efficiency.
Visually check and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment on assembly lines and plastic molding machines.
Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic parts.
Perform electrical work (60%) and mechanical work (40%).
Essential Skills
Proficiency in RS Logix.
Ability to program PLCs from scratch and edit existing programs.
Experience in troubleshooting and programming robots.
Knowledge of electrical maintenance, robotics automation, machine maintenance, pneumatics, hydraulics, and wiring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman card is a plus.
Experience building a control system machine from scratch.
Knowledge of Ignition, Factory Talk, and/or ERP systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $76960.00/yr.
