Primary Role: To assist in the maintenance and efficient operation of all physical plant systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop maintenance schedule for facility incorporating input from equipment manufacturers and plant personnel

• Perform maintenance tasks independently

• Schedule vendors and supervise/audit third party work as required

• Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment

• Train production employees in start up / calibration of equipment as required

• Perform other duties as assigned

  Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical or Vocational certificate preferred

• 1 year of plant or facility maintenance experience required. Experience in electrical/mechanical trades preferred

• Working knowledge of cranes, fork lifts, pumps and compressors

• Must be a self- motivated and self- driven independent worker

• Must have strong interpersonal, communication, organization and time management skills

• Ability to read blueprint and schematic drawings preferred

• Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hour

• Must be able to perform heavy lifting, pushing and pulling- approx. 30 plus pounds

• Able to work overtime, off-shifts and weekends as required
