Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking an Associate Director of Desktop Engineering to join their team. As an Associate Director of Desktop Engineering, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Desktop Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Associate Director of Desktop Engineering
Location: Rockville, MD
What's the Job?
Manage, monitor, and report on services and service levels to support an exceptional end-user desktop environment.
Oversee “White Glove” executive support and hardware certification across desktop environments.
Lead teams to deliver high-quality software products on a predictable schedule.
Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for end-user experiences.
Build and develop high-performing, self-organizing engineering teams.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline with at least 7 years of related experience.
Minimum of 3 years as a technical engineering manager.
Experience using MECM/SCCM, Intune, JAMF, and DEM tooling.
Knowledge in Windows and Mac OS imaging, patching, and software packaging.
Strong communication skills and experience in change management principles.
