Our work depends on VTC Technician I joining our team to joining our team to provide audio/visual meeting support for federal customers during meetings, including video teleconferencing, video display of laptops and/or presentations.

Location: On site in Rockville, MD

HOW A VTC TECHNICIAN I WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Provide audio/visual meeting support for federal customers during meetings, including video teleconferencing, video display of laptops and/or presentations, WebEx setup

  • Provide daily conference room checks, such as verifying Crestron, Extron, and Shure equipment is online, functioning and charged

  • Provide customer support for all A/V equipment

  • Provide support for WebEx / Zoom / MS Teams VTC Platforms

  • Log all transactions with customers in ServiceNow ticketing system

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED

  • Required Technical Skills: Experience supporting telephony, video, network and/or other collaboration devices

  • Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain a NIH Public Trust

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience using ticketing Software experience, such as Service Now

  • Basic understanding of Crestron and Cisco Systems and software

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.82 - $28.75. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
