Medical Laboratory Scientist II

(multiple positions) sought by AdventHealth Redmond, Rome, GA, to be responsible for performing various routine or special clinical laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases, for lab testing procedures, analytical testing of blood and/or other human biological specimens, and pre-and post-analytical work processes; performing, documenting, monitoring, interpreting, evaluating and reporting on quality control testing and trends and assurance findings to laboratory manager; performing and documenting instrument maintenance, and calibration; implementing improvement measures; verifying validity of test methods to include patient preparation, and pre- and postanalytic phases of testing and results reporting; performing Immunohematology procedures to ensure safety of blood transfusions, and also Phlebotomy, when needed. safety of blood transfusions, and also Phlebotomy, when needed.

Requirement: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Clinical Laboratory, Chemical or Biological Science, or equivalent. Must have ASCP, AAB, or AMT Certification.
