Purpose: Maintain the integrity of the company s financial reporting and ensure that month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting processes are executed smoothly. Essential Job Functions: Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate close. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics, variances, and trends. Provide insights and recommendations to drive business performance. Year-End Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and schedules. Support the audit process by liaising with external auditors and ensuring all necessary documentation is provided. Payroll Management: Oversee and execute the timely and accurate processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and legal requirements. Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with the Director of Finance and Accounting to support budgeting and forecasting processes. Help prepare financial projections and assist in tracking performance against budgeted targets. Special Projects: Participate in cross-departmental projects and initiatives, providing financial analysis and support that directly influence strategic decisions across the organization. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and assist in the implementation of best practices to streamline financial operations and reporting. Accounts Payable: Review and process payments for employee expense accounts, vendor invoices, and other accounts payable transactions on time. Accounts Receivable: Prepare client invoices, send monthly statements as needed, and post payments received against the appropriate client invoice and record the deposit in the ledger. Perform other duties and special projects as required to fulfill the mission of the company
