HVAC Service Technician
Job Description
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment, mainly rooftop units, across various facilities in the designated area. You will cover regions from Georgetown to San Marcos, with most assignments in the metropolitan area. You will be provided with a work truck or van and can dispatch from home, eliminating the need to visit the shop daily. Initial training will be conducted with a Senior Technician for the first few weeks, after which you will handle service calls independently.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment, primarily rooftop units.
Travel to various facilities within the designated service area.
Work independently after initial training with a Senior Technician.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional interactions with clients.
Complete service calls and repairs efficiently and effectively.
Essential Skills
5-7 years of HVAC experience in the service industry.
Valid Driver's License.
High School or Trade School Graduate or GED.
EPA Certification.
Registered through TDLR.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with electrical and mechanical components.
Experience in HVAC repair and maintenance.

Work Environment
You will work out in the field, handling multiple service calls per day, primarily servicing commercial buildings and warehouses. This role requires comfort with working in various weather conditions, including heat and cold.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
