How You’llMake An Impact:

• Set-up previously developed jobsfor gas and steam airfoil components

• Requisition vital tooling andgauging from tool crib. Receive assignments, oral and/or written, fromsupervision. Make machine edits as approved. Must demonstrate the abilityto proficiently pre-set tooling.

• Measure and make appropriateadjustments to ensure parts meet specification. Interpret EngineeringDrawings, Blueprints and other Technical Data as provided by engineering.Rough and finish machining a variety of parts. Identify parts machinedwith hand etcher or dot peen machine deburr parts, as required. Markand/or record production information, manually or using computerequipment, as required.

• Advise supervision ofirregularities or equipment malfunctions. Perform routine maintenance onequipment. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.Maintain inventory records for steel; charge to appropriate order, asrequired. Deburr work pieces and maintain material identification asrequired.

• Check machined parts forconformance to print requirements, using precision measuring devices.Examine machine tools, equipment, and component systems to resolve causeof malfunctions, perform remedial action, installation and/or replacementof parts as required to maintain system operation. Perform machiningoperations to ensure work is completed in a timely manner in accordancewith Time Standards and/or Target Expectations.

• Use computer system to access andenter non-conformance data; complete all vital paperwork. Ensure thatequipment is functioning properly by performing daily checks includingscheduled preventative maintenance. Operate material handling equipmentincluding crane.

What You’llBring:

• Requires the ability to performarithmetic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, anddivision, including decimals and fractions.

• Requires the ability to read,write, complete simple forms, and understand simple written instructions

• Some milling experience andpreferably CNC required

• Equivalent to a high schooleducation is acceptable, A.A.S. Degree in Machining Technology, or itsequivalent experience preferred.
