The Solutions Architect is a direct-hire position working for HGA in our office in The Woodlands, TX.

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect with extensive experience in network infrastructure design, cloud technologies, and IT security. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing scalable and efficient IT solutions, leading technical projects, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage scalable IT infrastructure solutions including on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Lead the architecture and deployment of virtualized environments using VMware (vSphere, ESXi, Horizon View) and Citrix (XenApp, XenServer).

Architect and manage cloud solutions with Azure, including virtual machines, virtual networking, and hybrid cloud integrations.

Oversee network design and administration, including LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management (ASA, Meraki, FortiGate).

Drive IT security strategies, including Active Directory management, LDAP integration, antivirus solutions, and disaster recovery planning.

Provide Tier 2 (occasionally) and Tier 3 technical support for a diverse client base in a fast-paced environment.

Lead IT project management efforts, including system migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and security remediation.

Develop and enforce technical standards, documentation, and best practices across IT systems.
