Floor Care Specialist

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

Pay Rate: $19 -$20hr.

Location: Purchase, NY

Job Description:

This role involves performing a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure high standards of cleanliness and floor care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in various floor care techniques, including steam cleaning, burnishing, deep scrubbing, refinishing, stripping, and, waxing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate steam cleaning equipment.

• Use burnishing and buffing machines.

• Perform deep scrubbing of floors to remove buildup and grime.

• Strip and wax floors.

• Conduct comprehensive deep cleaning of all floor surfaces, including corners and hard-to-reach areas, using appropriate tools and cleaning agents.

• Regularly inspect flooring for damage or wear and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance to prevent future issues.

Ideal Candidate:

• Floor care experience is necessary.

• Proficient in operating various floor care machinery and tools; strong understanding of cleaning techniques and materials.

• Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality results.

• Capable of handling physically demanding tasks and working in various environments.

• Ability to identify issues with flooring and apply appropriate solutions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role.

• Familiarity with cleaning and maintenance chemicals and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
