We are offering an exciting opportunity in Sacramento, California for a Contracts Manager. This role is integral to the operations, overseeing a team of six to handle various customer contracts. Reporting to the head of risk, this position plays a pivotal role in navigating the legal and customer contract landscape within our industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of contract handlers, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time

• Liaise with the head of risk, providing updates and reports on contract statuses and issues

• Utilize experience in contract management to guide and support team members

• Review and amend contract terms as needed to ensure compliance and best interests of the company

• Negotiate contract terms with customers and other parties, ensuring fair and beneficial agreements

• Handle legal contracts with precision, understanding the implications and requirements of each agreement

• Maintain a comprehensive record of all contracts, amendments, and negotiations

• Ensure all customer contracts are processed and managed effectively

• Use in-depth knowledge of deal terms to secure advantageous agreements for the company

• Continually review contracts and terms to identify potential improvements or issues.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role as a Contracts Manager

• Proven ability to amend and negotiate terms of contracts

• Familiarity with different types of contracts, such as customer contracts and legal contracts

• Demonstrated expertise in dealing with contract terms

• Proficient in reviewing contracts and identifying potential issues

• Excellent negotiation skills, particularly in relation to contract terms

• Solid understanding of the legal aspects of contracts

• Proficiency in managing and maintaining all types of contracts

• Experience in ensuring compliance with all contract terms and conditions

• Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing contracts.
