ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a qualified Software Developer to design and code web, desktop and console applications using C#, ASP.NET and MVC. All of our applications use Microsoft SQL server as a backend database, so experience with this is a big plus. You'll work both as part of a team of other developers and business analysts, and individually with little supervision.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver solutions that meet/exceed requirements and expectations to help internal colleagues and external clients meet their business requirements

• Design, develop, test and implement software applications

• Prepare and maintain systems/applications documentation

• Implement/support compliance in the areas of system security, user access, resource access and authentication

• Provide user training and/or guidance if needed

Work Location

This is a hybrid role. You will work remotely most of the time, with occasional days at our Saginaw, Michigan, campus. On-site work may carry over short, or possibly extended, periods of time depending on need. While on site, you'll work in a friendly, casual environment at our corporate office in Saginaw Township, close to shopping and restaurants. You'll also have access to our free on-site workout facility and enjoy perks such as tickets to local events.

Eligibility Requirements

• Able to work on site in Saginaw, Michigan, as required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

• Six or more years of experience in application design and development in these core areas:

  • C#

  • Microsoft SQL Server, database design/stored procedures/views, etc.

  • ADO.Net

  • ASP.NET MVC

  • ASP.NET Web API, JSON

  • CSS/Bootstrap

  • JavaScript/JQuery

  • Solid object-oriented design understanding

Nice to Have

Application design and development experience in:

• SQL Server Reporting Services

• HTML5

• XML

• Familiarity with design patterns

• Experience with Git/GitHub

• Salesforce development

• Azure

• Knockout.js

• Agile development

• GUI design

Experience in Unit Testing, Amazon Web Services (AWS), E-Commerce (nopCommerce), Java, JSP, Java Servlet, Tomcat, Eclipse IDE, Node.js, Entity Framework
