Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a BIM Database Specialist to join a leading construction company in the St. Louis, MO area. This person will be responsible for database content and CADmep services for the St. Louis office. As the BIM Database Specialist they will be creating, altering, and refining 3D models of piping and plumbing products for the detailers to design. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in mechanical and plumbing systems, and an understanding on how the materials are connected in field construction.

Must Haves:

• 3 YOE designing database content (flex with YOE)

• Knowledge of CADmep

• An understanding of how the materials are connected to field construction

Nice to have skills:

• Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks experience

• Knowledge of .itmcreation and .rfa creation

Skills and Requirements

• Knowledge of CadMEP (Autodesk Fabrication CADmep)

• An understanding of how the materials are connected to field construction.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems- understanding of how the parts and pieces connect to eachother. (plumbing, piping parts) * Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks experience

• Knowledge of .itmcreation and .rfa creation null
