Roseann Mabry from Robert Half is partner with a manufacturing facility to place a Human Resource Assistant on a direct hire basis. The full time position for the Human Resource Assistant will include assisting the HR Director with day to day operations. This entry level Human Resource Assistant role will allow you to explore all aspects of human resources as you continue to grow your career. This position is part of a 2 person team for the organization. This position is a fully onsite opportunity. The possibility for advancement is there for the right HR professional as you continue to take on new tasks and master your position. Responsibilities:

• Assist the HR Director in the daily operations of the HR department

• Handle HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance

• Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met

• Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and recommend corrective actions

• Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars

• Collaborate with the HR Director to post job ads on careers pages and process incoming resumes

• Manage the department’s telephone center and address queries accordingly

• Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications

• Provide orientations for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies

• Utilize HRIS system and other software like ADP Workforce Now to streamline HR functions.

Requirements

• Holds a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role

  • Payroll experience a plus!

• Demonstrated experience in auditing and background checks

• Knowledge and experience in benefit and payroll functions

• Strong customer service skills

• Familiarity with HRIS Systems

• Proven experience in compliance functions

• Ability to handle recruiting activities effectively

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
