Job Summary:

Responsible for overall management of the infusion pump fleet system-wide. Ensures collaboration with other departments to align goals that result in rapid adoption, optimization, and sustainable compliance across the portfolio of services. Works with suppliers, internal teams, leadership, and end-users to ensure fleet optimization and operational efficacy.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managesnumerousassets across the system, including large volume pumps, syringe pumps, and patient-controlled analgesia (PCA)pumps.

  • Tracksutilizationofpumpsacrossministriestocreateand ensure resource maximization.

  • Manages utilization of all consumable inventory codes used in IV therapy, including standardization in coordination with the nursing clinical program.

  • Monitors equipmentrentals and requesting pump moves across the ministries, ensuring all parties are notified when pumps are moved and manages rentalutilization.

  • Manages new pump requests. Re-allocates and coordinates with supplier and leasing company if there are additions.

  • Manages service event logs, turnaround time and loaners for supplier relationshipmanagement.

  • Oversees pay per hour model, audits hours utilized, and communicates with operations teams and leadership at each ministry.

  • Accountable for new acquisitions and closuresand analyzesshifting pumps from other ministries.

  • Communicates financial and performance measurements, which serve as a gauge ofcost reduction, revenue generation, variability reduction and process improvement initiatives.

  • Identifies and resolves contract and performance issues with suppliers. ​

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education

EXPERIENCE

  • Five years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
