Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Employees will work in a union facility on the 3rd shift. Shift times are Monday-Friday, 11:00pm-7:00am, or Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:00am.

Must have at least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Responsibilities include adjusting or repairing packaging equipment, repairing or replacing defective equipment and parts using hand and power tools, performing routine preventative maintenance on all equipment, inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and performing other maintenance tasks while keeping all activities documented. Employees will diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair/owner manuals, engineering specifications, and parts catalogs as necessary. The role also involves cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery, and working with outside contractors and plant operations to ensure all maintenance is completed in a safe and efficient manner.

Hard Skills

• Industrial maintenance experience

• Electrical knowledge

• Ability to test R&R 110-480v electric motors, circuits, and switches

• Knowledge of LOTO (Lock out Tag out)

• Knowledge of Emergency Response Procedures
