The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Vending Supervisor to join our team at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Vending Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

What will you do?
Supervises and coordinates activities of vendors.
Oversees Game-day operations in vending commissaries.
Ensures quality of products and accurate preparation of all food and beverage items as listed on vendor sheet.
Ensures a quality appearance of the vending commissaries at all times; ensures that all workstations and storerooms remain clean.
Maintains level of inventory for vending commissaries throughout shift, orders replacement stock as necessary.
Oversees and participates in vendor set-up and closing procedures; balances inventory to cash and closes out point-of-sale system with appropriate reports.
Picks up the operating bank and enforces company cash handling procedures
Analyzes and resolves all guests and associates problems with the vending commissary leaders.
Reports all needed repairs to leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.
More about you
Previous cash handling/cashier experience required.
Previous experience in food and beverage vending or other food service work preferred.
Previous supervisory experience is required.
Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with team members and prepare written reports after each event.
Ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical requirements
Standing and walking for the entire length of shift.
Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 50 lbs.
Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at the waist, bending, and squatting.
Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, stock, mops, and brooms.
Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures.
