We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The individual will be part of a dynamic team, handling various accounting functions within the company. The workplace is a collaborative environment where the Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the accounts payable function, including invoice processing and payment.

• Utilize accounting software systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounting functions.

• Conduct account coding for all payable invoices, ensuring correct classification of expenses.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of accounts payable, including processing payments and maintaining accurate records.

• Apply accrual accounting principles to prepare, analyze, and maintain financial statements.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Monitor customer accounts regularly, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Perform monthly reconciliations of all payable accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all financial deadlines are met.

• Support in preparing reports detailing accounts payable status.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Must be able to perform all necessary Accounting Functions.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is necessary.
