Job Title: Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician
Day Shift Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm ( Monday through Friday )
- On-call every other week
Job Description
- We are looking for a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in West St. Paul, MN. You will work closely with the Production Maintenance – Facility Manager to administer and monitor the Building Automation System, perform routine preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot production support equipment, including HVAC systems. You will also train Facilities Maintenance Staff and ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
Responsibilities
Perform general facilities maintenance, including repairs and alterations to buildings (carpentry, plastering, painting, etc.).
Complete 60-80 facilities maintenance tasks monthly.
Be on call every other week on a rotating basis.
Maintain HVAC and support equipment for operational efficiency.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance work orders.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Demonstrate leadership and trade skills in electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and plumbing.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
Current licenses in Boiler Operation, Refrigeration & Recovery, and Electrical Maintenance ( Class C minimum ) from Minnesota.
Experience with building automation systems ( Currently Siemens and Allen Bradley, transitioning to only Allen Bradley ).
Experience with preventive maintenance platforms ( Client utilizes Blue Mountain ).
Knowledge of electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and related trades.
Basic knowledge of machinery and HVAC support equipment.
Mastery of trades and construction skills.
Safe use and maintenance of power tools.
Ability to plan and execute repairs independently.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
Experience in facilities maintenance, in an FDA-regulated environment.
Maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices ( GMP’s ), preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Post-high school training in facilities maintenance and operations.

Work Environment
- You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, overlapping with another Sr. Maintenance Technician. Dress code and facility conditions are standard for a maintenance role, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $87360.00/yr.
