Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC Microsoft 365 Support Analyst in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Microsoft 365 Support Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting various aspects of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. You will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, user support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing the ticket queue efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Exchange Management:
- Manage mailbox quotas, mail tips, recipient limits, and delegation settings.
- Troubleshoot mail flow issues and implement archiving solutions.
- Teams Administration:
- Manage and configure messaging, meeting, and app-centric policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Teams calls and meetings.
- Work with Microsoft 365 Groups and ensure smooth integration with Teams.
- SharePoint/OneDrive Administration:
- Manage advanced permissions for SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and individual items.
- Use PowerShell to automate administrative tasks, manage permissions, and perform bulk operations for SharePoint Online.
- Integrate SharePoint Online with other Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
- Diagnose and resolve complex SharePoint/OneDrive performance, connectivity, and access issues.
- Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively utilize SharePoint features.
- Administer SharePoint Online, including site collection management, user management, and site settings.
- Oversee content management and enforce governance policies to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Miscellaneous Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end SharePoint/OneDrive administration and development support.
- Utilize Graph API to enhance operations and automate tasks.
- Use PowerShell scripting for advanced automation and troubleshooting tasks.
- Distinguish between issues related to users' Microsoft 365 accounts and problems stemming from their local desktop, browser, or operating system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 Services: Extensive experience with O365, M365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange.
- Mailbox Management: Strong understanding of Exchange mailbox management, including quotas, mail tips, recipient limits, and delegation.
- Teams & Policy Management: Experience configuring Teams policies for messaging, meetings, and applications.
- Advanced SharePoint/OneDrive Skills: Expertise in SharePoint Online permissions management, administration, and governance.
- PowerShell & Graph API: Proficiency in using PowerShell for SharePoint/OneDrive tasks and knowledge of Graph API for automation.
- Troubleshooting & End-User Support: Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving issues related to Microsoft 365 services, along with the ability to assist end-users effectively.
- End-User Training & Communication: Ability to train and support end-users in utilizing Microsoft 365 tools, particularly SharePoint and Teams.
- Attention to Detail & Organization: Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and manage a busy ticket queue.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-100 or MS-101 (Microsoft 365 Certified: Identity and Services).
- Experience in SharePoint Online development and custom workflows.
- Familiarity with Power Automate for streamlining SharePoint/Teams workflows.
