The Minnesota Rare Disease Council is looking for their next Public Policy Manager! In this position you will coordinate legislative activities regarding statutory changes that improve the delivery of services for individuals living with rare diseases. In addition, you will develop and implement legislative strategies to support agency goals and objectives related to public policy. You will engage with stakeholders, including healthcare organizations, associations representing the healthcare community, state agencies, legislators, and legislative staff to gather input, build support, and educate regarding improved healthcare. In partnership with the Executive Director, you will represent the agency by testifying at legislative hearings and interacts closely with the rare disease patient advocacy community. Please note this is currently a temporary full-time position with a current expected end date of June 30, 2025, but may be converted to permanent full time depending on future approved funding for the position.
