Punch Press Operator

Job Description

Specializes in many industries including medical, aerospace, automotive, heating and cooling, and more.

Candidates must have recent experience operating punch presses. The company utilizes several types of sheet metal fabrication equipment. The candidate will operate various metal stamping machines, which include processes such as blanking, punching, bending, drawing, and embossing.

• Operate punch presses and learn to set them up

• Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel, beryllium copper, brass, and mild steel

• Inspect parts using inspection tools

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in SAINT PAUL, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Large shop with tool making department, quality department, and production environment. Numerous machines such as press brakes, punch presses, laser/turrets, and CNC machines. Loud but well-organized sheet metal environment with roughly 300 employees.

1st shift - 6:00am-3:30pm M-R and 6:00am-12:00pm F
