Smart CareĀ® Equipment Solutions Warehouse Coordinator in Saint Paul, Minnesota

100% Onsite Works within a service organization reporting to the business Supply Chain Manager or the designated Operating Company leadership team member, the Procurement and Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the execution of transactional policies related to the replenishment of warehouse and/or Service Vehicle inventory. Vehicle stock inventory will be based upon usage analysis within the operating market. Consumed inventory will be replenished based upon identified / pre-determined economic min-max stocking levels. The specialist will be responsible for supporting the Purchasing team in the administration of procurement tasks with the established direct material supply base obtaining required product for the lowest total cost and delivery to accommodate customer needs. The Specialist will be accountable for the timely transaction of replenishment orders to from the warehouse to the vehicle in addition to external established suppliers. Additionally, This position requires a strict alignment of inventory chain of custody, procedural transactions, and the performance of inventory validation policies within the business. Key Responsibilities Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouse of stock inventory as well as surplus project material. Surplus project material must be coordinated with the Supply Chain Manager. Excess vehicle returns process administration. Working with Technicians to ensure a timely and accurate return of required components to suppliers for credit. Conduct reviews and audits of warehouse and vehicle inventories to ensure that inventory is appropriately identified and stored. Participates in projects related to inventory and purchase cost improvements. Independently carries out replenishment activities with full consideration for the impact of those activities on customer and business stakeholder expectations. Supports purchasing management in activities such as transactional procurement of product from established sources at contract prices. Develops and maintains effective relationships with suppliers to the benefit of both parties. Promotes engagement and participation in overall materials management accountability. Acts as inventory is their personal wallet. This position does require normal warehouse operations ergonomic capabilities including the ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull , reach, climb a ladder with the appropriate safety wear, drive a fork truck, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds. Qualifications and Competencies B.S in applicable field, or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience Experience Greater than three (3) years of relevant work experience (required) including team leadership experience (preferred). Travel Requirement Travel will be almost exclusively North America based. Anticipated travel is dependent upon service organization. Maximum 5% with potential to surge to no more than 25%, on exception. Travel needs will always be dependent upon need and aligned to both business and family needs.
