Position: Material Controls Specialist

• 1st Shift Hours : 7:00am-3:30pm ( Monday through Friday )

• Pay Range: $23.00-$25.00 per hour ( depends on experience )

Job Description

• Job Summary:

• The role involves receiving, storing, staging, inventorying, returning, and shipping materials post-production, ensuring compliance with cGMP and ISO standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, timely material movement, accurate transactions, and continuous improvement in material flow and control.

• Duties/Responsibilities:

• Shipping (40%) : Timely shipping, meeting customer requirements, efficient and accurate processing of shipping paperwork.

• Traffic Management (5%): Coordination with carriers, freight forwarders, and brokers for on-time delivery and cost management.

• Inventory Accuracy: Correct stocking, self-audits, cycle counts, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Material Movement: Prompt order picking, accurate transactions, proper staging, and segregation of materials.

• Storage : Optimizing space usage, checking for damage, and proper segregation based on quality status.

• Documentation : Accurate and complete forms, labels, and reconciliation.

• Workplace Values: Maintaining a clean, safe environment, participating in team activities, and cross-training.

• Continuous Improvement : Staying updated on technology, submitting cost reduction ideas, and improving operations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Must Have:

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, specializing in shipping and receiving, inventory management, and cycle counting.

• Experience with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) software.

• Detail-oriented, decisive, and eager to help in any capacity.

• 1-3+ years of experience operating material handling equipment, with a focus on forklift operation.

• Nice To Haves :

• Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulated environment.

• HAZMAT Certification.

• Up-to-date Forklift certification.

• International shipping experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00

Salary Adjustments - annual increases for meeting or exceeding job performance

401K Match plan - 62.5% match of every dollar invested up to 6% of annual salary

Holiday Pay:

1-5 years = 80 hours

6-11 years = 120 hours

12-25 years = 160 hours

25+ = 200 hours

Continuing education plan/tuition assistance:

The company will provide educational assistance in the form of reimbursement to eligible employees up to

a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year, for coursework at a degree or certificate granting

institution at either high school, vocational, college or graduate level.
