Job Description:

The company is seeking a talented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting Department at our Corporate Headquarters in St. Petersburg. The Accounts Specialist Payable will be responsible for timely and accurate processing and payment of vendor invoices in accordance with net pay requirements, among additional tasks and responsibilities listed below.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Auditing invoices for correct charges and approvals
• Entering invoices into accounting software for payment
• Enter wire transfer transactions
• Researching problems and solving open AP issues
• Maintain daily filing
• Close payables by the 5th business day of the month
• Box and arrange for storage of prior year files
• Follow established procedures and controls for all associated processes
• Other duties assigned by management
