The Service Contract Renewal Specialist is responsible for proactively renewing service contracts for an assigned territory to maintain and grow service contract revenue. The Service Contract Renewals Representative will need to quickly build customer rapport and leverage customer relationships and Hach value propositions, thereby moving opportunities to close. This role also collaborates with other Service Sales Representatives within the EU and local Sales teams to improve processes and apply the best resources to close the business. This position is part of the Commercial Service Department located in Manchester UK and will be on-site with the option of hybrid working arrangements in which you can work part-time remotely from your home, as per the company policy.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Engage with customers via phone and email providing quotations, cross-selling, up-selling, and minimising discounting where possible.

  • Maintaining customer touchpoints to drive high levels of success for On-Time renewal of existing service contracts.

  • Reviewing commercial contracts and legal terms in accordance with the Hach guidelines and escalating for approval as needed.

  • Populate and maintain the highest standards of data integrity in Salesforce.com (SFDC)

  • Engage in department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through, reporting, visual management and identifying countermeasures (problem solving) where appropriate.

  • Participating in meetings with Sales and the customer to provide excellence in Customer Service and maximise the opportunity for Service contract growth. Some of this would be at Customer sites.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) or 2 years in a Customer Service/Sales Administration role in a business to business environment.

  • Evidence of self- motivation with the ability to prioritise their own workload, driving high quality on time results to the agreed targets and the ability to actively contribute across multiple departments.

  • Solid Administrative experience in managing and organising a large portfolio of contracts/workload on an rolling annual basis.

  • Demonstrates a deep understanding and ability to listen to customer needs with preferred experience increasing revenue within existing accounts by broadening and deepening solutions.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft packages especially excel, working knowledge of SFDC preferred.
