Description We are seeking a Billing Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Salisbury, North Carolina. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and is centered around maintaining accurate records, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Maintain and update customer credit records consistently

• Employ computerized billing systems to manage and organize billing functions

• Utilize accounting software systems to perform various accounting functions

• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Respond to inbound calls, addressing and resolving customer inquiries promptly

• Ensure all billing functions are executed accurately and in a timely manner

• Continuously monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed

• Leverage tech-savviness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Computerized Billing

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to manage Answering Inbound Calls

• Prior experience in Billing and Billing Functions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
