Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to install and maintain production machines and plant equipment. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and a variety of machinist duties in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment including CNC, press brake, benders, robots, lasers, paint booths, and transfluid systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment during machine operations.

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during the production process.

• Perform machinist duties as needed.

• Utilize a variety of mechanical skills including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of machines/equipment.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.

• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and electrical meters.

Essential Skills

• Electrical safety practices

• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

• Diagnosing electrical issues such as finding lost power and handling amperage overload

• Comfortable working with electrical panels

• Mechanical and electrical skills

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

• Basic computer skills

• High school diploma

• 2-5 years of experience in production maintenance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts supplier manufacturing maintenance

• PLC troubleshooting skills

• Operating and/or maintaining CNC lathes and/or mills

The facility is very clean and organized, with a comfortable climate. The 2nd shift runs from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, and you must be willing to work rotating weekends. The facility is clean and well-organized, and includes modern amenities to ensure a pleasant working environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Salisbury, NC.

Pay: $28-$33/hr, depending on experience

Shift: 2nd

Schedule: Monday-Friday with OT on Saturdays as needed, probably every other week

Weekly Hours: probably 45-50

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00
