The Department of Environmental Quality is looking to fill a Branch Secretary position in the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control.
Job Description
- General knowledge office standards, procedures and responsibilities
- Typing, proofreading, and finalizing correspondence on a word processor
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Electronic records management
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Knowledge of standard office procedures and responsibilities
- Ability/Skill to type, proofread and finalize correspondence on a word processor
- Ability/Skill/Knowledge of maintaining filing systems, including electronic records management (including scanning docs)
- Ability/Skill/Knowledge in customer service and teamwork skills
- Ability/Skill in paying attention to detail
- Ability/Skill in good communication communicating clearly orally and in writing
- Experience in Microsoft Word
The best qualified candidate will have the following: High School Diploma or equivalent; Six months to two years of general office experience Computer courses in Microsoft Word; Business English Classes or any other education certificates identifying ability, skills, and knowledge associated with the duties associated with this position.
