Position Summary:
We are seeking a Business Requirements Manager/Senior Business Analyst with 6-8 years of experience in banking, specializing in business requirements management. This role requires experience owning and managing the business requirements effort within large project teams, focusing on requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and delivery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in regulatory banking projects, Agile/Hybrid delivery models, and industry best practices for business analysis.
Essential Duties:
• Define and document business requirements aligned with strategic goals and shared capabilities.
• Lead the requirements gathering process, ensuring completeness, clarity, and alignment with project objectives.
• Manage traceability of requirements, linking them to artifacts and testing through the product lifecycle.
• Work independently on highly complex projects/programs, applying formal training and knowledge to execution.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to ensure end-to-end processes, business risks, and constraints are well understood.
• Identify and escalate risks that may impact timelines, cost, or project scope.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior business representatives, communicating key findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the quality of business analysis aligns with project execution.
Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in business requirements management within the banking sector (Commercial, Retail, Deposits, and Wealth Management preferred).
• Strong background in Agile methodology, with hands-on experience in JIRA/Confluence for requirements and testing.
• Process modeling expertise and the ability to document workflows effectively.
• Proven stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred certifications: CBAP, IIBA, PBA (please list all relevant certifications).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Travel Requirements: This role is 100% remote, with potential occasional travel for team meetings or client engagements.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $60 – 65.
