Assurance Hospitality LLC in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Data Analyst to utilize mathematical models and optimization techniques to create and analyze information. This information will support management in decision making, crafting policies, and be used for other managerial functions.    Job responsibilities and duties include:

• Collect and analyze the daily operational and financial data
• Identify any uncollected or unapproved credit card transactions and resolve with the hotel manager
• Analyze the hotel performance from the star report and prepare the KPIs
• Provide analytical support to other divisions of the organization by mining data, conducting analysis, and interpreting results related to business needs
• Develops methodologies and approaches to new tasks and projects through design and development of analytical models and reports
• Documents business requirements and methods used to generate work output
• Drives analytic innovation and best practices
• Actively identifies and eliminates inefficient or ineffective use of resources and provides recommendation on process improvements
• May supervise the gathering and analysis of information.

THIS POSITION HAS NO DIRECT REPORTS.

Minimum Requirements:  

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Data Science, or any related field of study that provided the required knowledge and abilities, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any related positions that provided the required skills and abilities.    Qualified applicants must also have demonstratable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:
