Maintenance Technician

Shift Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 12-hour night shifts

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge and a keen interest in learning and developing skills in electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing systems. This role is perfect for individuals with little to no experience who are eager to start a career in maintenance and facilities management.

Primary Duties

Main Duties

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing systems.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs under the supervision of experienced technicians.

  • Support preventive maintenance activities to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment and systems.

  • Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

  • Attend training sessions and workshops to develop technical skills and knowledge.

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to support overall maintenance operations.

    Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to maintenance and

  • Prioritize projects and daily requests, assigning them to internal teams or external resources.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Training and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic understanding or interest in electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing systems.

  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills in maintenance and facilities management.

  • Basic problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work.

    Working Conditions, Physical Requirements and Supervisory Roles

  • Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.

  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.

  • Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.

  • Ability to operate heavy machinery.

  • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
