Maintenance Technician
Shift Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 12-hour night shifts
Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge and a keen interest in learning and developing skills in electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing systems. This role is perfect for individuals with little to no experience who are eager to start a career in maintenance and facilities management.
Primary Duties
Main Duties
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing systems.
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs under the supervision of experienced technicians.
Support preventive maintenance activities to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment and systems.
Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Attend training sessions and workshops to develop technical skills and knowledge.
Work collaboratively with other team members to support overall maintenance operations.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Prioritize projects and daily requests, assigning them to internal teams or external resources.

Training and Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding or interest in electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing systems.
No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Basic problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work.
Working Conditions, Physical Requirements and Supervisory Roles
Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.
Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.
Ability to operate heavy machinery.
Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
