Job Profile Summary: The Learning Experience Manager manages a team of Learning Experience Specialist to lead the implementation of several university-wide technology adoptions or multimedia projects. This leader models excellent instructional technology, multimedia, and instructional design practices and mentors others on the team. The manager ensures instructional technology best practices and policies are deployed in a consistent manner across colleges and departments. This leader contributes to the improvement of learning design through innovative technology and design solutions, as well as contributes to the design, development, and coordination of program development training, as needed. The manager partners with Learning Resources Specialist and Instructional Designers to ensure that both teams know how to implement university-wide technology solutions. This leader solves problems related to learning design by working with multiple stakeholders across the university, always keeping improvement of student learning outcomes as a primary goal.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: * Experience outside of education working for a vendor or software platform * Online teaching or virtual training experience * Design experience for mobile platforms * Experience with social learning features

Leadership and Talent Management: * Manages/Supervises a team of professionals. Manages the work of assigned employees and/or supervisors who generally exercise some latitude and independence in their assignments.
