This strategic role focuses on developing and implementing enterprise-wide leadership programs, succession planning, performance management processes, and engagement initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead strategic, enterprise-wide leadership-focused learning and development initiatives utilizing project

management, adult learning theory and L&D methodologies. In collaboration with business leaders, the manager works to assess organizational needs and plans curriculum and learning strategies to address identified needs.

  • Leadership Development: Lead large scale Talent Development programs to elevate leadership capabilities at all levels of the organization. Formulate metrics and evaluation tools to monitor and analyze impact and effectiveness of programs.

  • Succession Planning: Supports Director of Talent Development to drive succession planning and development programs for this population.

  • Change Management: Design training, tools & resources to support leaders to drive organizational change management.

  • New Leader Onboarding: Design and administer New Leader Onboarding programs.

  • Performance Management: Design & support the performance management/development process, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.

  • Career Development: Assist with career path development and planning by identifying relevant competencies and helping employees & leaders set career goals and manage career expectations.

  • Engagement: Administer the engagement surveys, analyze results, and provide recommendations for actions plans/programs to drive overall engagement.

  • Recognition: Design & supports recognition programs.

  • Train the Trainers: When needed, deploy train-the-trainer model, providing guidance to SMEs to ensure learning objectives are both met, sustained, and are consistent across all learner populations.

  • D&I: Drives diversity and inclusion through all Talent Management programs.

Qualifications: Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, preferred.

  • Talent Development/HR related certifications, preferred

Qualifications: Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in the field of Human Resources and/or Talent Development

  • 2+ years project management experience

  • 2+ years’ experience leading large scale projects; identify project plans, gain buy in, plan for resources, & meet timelines

  • Ability to understand business strategy to design, develop and implement innovative, value-add solutions that aligns with business objectives

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, training and design, and measurement of training effectiveness

  • Ability to coach & develop all levels of leaders, including Executive level Leaders

  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills

    Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $80,000-$97,000/year Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik/Kum&Go considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance compelling needs

  • A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems

  • Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making
