Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves handling essential aspects of our financial operations, including management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, payroll assistance, and bank reconciliations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and providing valuable insights to our management team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice creation, payment processing, and follow-up on outstanding invoices.

• Support payroll processing, ensuring updated employee records and timely payments.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify financial transactions and their accurate recording in our ledgers.

• Prepare financial reports and highlight any discrepancies or areas of concern.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the management team, providing valuable insights and forecasts to aid decision-making processes.

• Adhere to all company procedures and accounting principles.

• Uphold stringent internal financial controls and implement them when necessary.

• Use accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP for various accounting tasks including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations.

• Understanding of General Ledger management.

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Willingness to continuously improve and learn new accounting methods and techniques.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
