Summary About the Position: This position is with the 76th USAR Operational Response Command,G6, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Responsibilities Develops policies, programs, and systems pertaining to IT functions in support of the overall Command. Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the information management (IM)/IT strategic plan for the Command. Develops, maintains, and enforces the Command Network security policy and procedures. Responsible for managing and maintaining all networks, including the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), and local and wide area networks. Exercise supervision over the daily activities of a full time staff, which includes military/civilians. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing policies, programs and systems pertaining to IT functions, managing functional areas such as customer support, information management, telecommunications, security and cyber security. Reviews the work of military and civilian personnel. Develops detailed budget projections for higher headquarters. Coordinates short and long range IT plans for military training and deployments. Monitors complex networks such as Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET); and communication security (COMSEC). Position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 13 Months. Term appointments may be extended beyond six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
