What you'll do As the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager, you will manage Quality and Food Safety processes for suppliers, raw and packaging materials, throughout the tru fru network. This role plays a crucial part in the new supplier onboarding process to ensure compliance with applicable requirements. The role will be a partner with cross functional stakeholders in departments such as Procurement and Product Development to ensure that the tru fru supplier network meets the quality and food safety requirements established. In addition, there will be interactions with the tru fru external manufacturing locations. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the management and review of quality documentation using Tracegains software. * Engage with ingredients and packaging suppliers to ensure all required documentation is up to date. * Manage the Quality and Food Safety portion of the onboarding process for raw and packaging materials and respective suppliers for all materials within tru fru. * Manage the disposition of raw and packaging materials and conduct risk assessments, as needed and ensuring all necessary supplier quality related documentation is created, communicated, maintained, and stored for all related supplier approval process activities. * Monitor, track and file all Supplier non-conformance events. * Conduct periodic meetings with the various cross functional departments to review non-conformance trends. * Perform supplier quality and food safety audits and complete annual supplier risk assessments. * Review and approve ingredient specifications. What you'll bring to tru fru * Passion for and deep understanding of Quality and Food Safety. * An entrepreneurial spirit. * Proven ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams, often remotely, especially with external partners, Procurement and Product Development. * Excellent communication and negation skills. * Experience with GFSI Certification schemes. * Experience with leading teams cross-functionally. * Food Safety/Quality background and familiarity with FDA Legislation and HACCP Requirements. * Organizational skills and ability to manage various tasks throughout the day.
