Description We are offering a contract for an Accounting Clerk role in the medical services industry. The position is based in San Antonio, Texas, 78201, United States. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in managing various aspects of the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage vendor and customer setups within the accounting system

• Oversee the process of ACH payments and expense report processing

• Conduct bank and credit card account reconciliations

• Manage financial data using QuickBooks Intuit and Excel pivot tables

• Ensure accurate coding for month-end close and maintain general ledger transactions

• Collaborate with the finance team to enhance accounting procedures

• Uphold compliance with state law and company policies

• Participate in other accounting projects as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial data

• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) to manage company's financial obligations effectively

• Capability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) to keep track of all payments and receivables

• Experience in Billing processes to issue accurate charges to customers

• Proficient in Data Entry to keep company's financial information updated

• Familiarity with Invoice Processing to handle payments in a timely manner

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to perform financial analyses and reports

• Proficiency in QuickBooks for efficient financial management and bookkeeping
