POSITION SUMMARY:

MPLX is seeking a Document Control Analyst to assist our engineering and operations teams. The analyst will be responsible for managing MPLX’s Document Management System (DMS), associated support programs and will play an important role in delivering safe, compliant, reliable operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be able to work independently with internal regional customers and external third-party vendors to achieve results.

  • Provides document discovery, categorization, digitization and publication support.

  • Follows departmental SOPs and company standards to execute daily tasks. Candidate will be required to adhere to all federal, state and local requirements to ensure complaint records management.

  • Responsible for providing acquisition and divestiture support.

  • Support G&P’s change management process by understanding and responding to documentation change requests.

  • Responsible for maintaining G&P’s DMS SharePoint environment and associated workflows

  • Provides internal and external record check-in/out support in support of active projects.

  • Candidate must have working knowledge and proven use of building command prompt scripts that extract, move, and delete files from company network drives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) (required).

  • Associate’s degree or higher (preferred)

MUST demonstrate proficiency in:

  • SharePoint design and administration (preferred)

  • Microsoft Office suite (required)

  • AutoCAD (required)

  • SAP (preferred)

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of midstream oil and gas document control experience is required

Travel:

  • Up to 15%
