The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager to lead one of the VC-25B Industrial Engineering teams located in San Antonio, TX.

As the Industrial Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of VC-25B Industrial Engineers (IE) overseeing Master Schedule, IE programming/tools/reporting to facilitate shipside IE support, Long Range Business Planning (LRBP), Earned Value Management (EVM), Change Management, Constraint-based Analysis, Operating Plan development, Daily Shop Execution, and Recovery Planning.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees applying industrial engineering techniques and concepts to optimize production system and operational efficiency.

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering role

  • 12+ months of experience in a leadership role

  • Experience as an IE in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience using IE systems and tools for scheduling, sequencing, and simulations.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance

  • Aircraft modification / supplemental type certificate experience

  • Experience collaborating across functions and organizational levels.

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role

  • 3+ years’ experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in an operations environment.

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment where compliance with policies and procedures.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $107,950- $146,050
