Immediate hiring for "Lab Director" in San Antonio, TX !

Must be located closer to San Antonio, Texas

Job Description:

• Responsible for directing, managing, supervising, and coordinating all technical activities, implementing strategic initiatives, and developing new functional or cross-functional business processes to support the department’s objectives.

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to establish requirements and identify areas for improvement in operations

• Manage operating budgets, people processes, and technologies to drive operational improvements

• Supervise the technical performance of laboratory staff to ensure high-quality blood products and client testing.

Qualification :

• 7+ Years of laboratory experience in (NAT testing, VMT testing, STD testing) is Mandatory

• Bachelors OR Masters degree in Science is Mandatory

• 5+ years of extensive management experience in laboratory operations with 2+ years of supervising high-complexity testing.

• Experience with HCT/P (Human Cells, Tissues, and Cellular and Tissue-Based Products), Whole Blood, OPO (Organ Procurement Organization) is Preferred

• Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, CAP, CLIA) is Preferred

• MT OR MLS OR CLS certification is Preferred

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
