Scheduling Supervisor

Position:

SAS has an opening for a Scheduling Supervisor to assist the production team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing: inventory, forecasts, and discontinued items to determine root causes, actionable and responses needed.

  • Responsible for report generation and systematic jobs in D365.

  • Manage the production schedulers and improve efficiency through automation

  • Maintain reporting and database input. Drive improvements through automation.

  • Document procedures with SOPs

  • Lead meetings pertaining to scheduling and production status

  • Track finished goods in process and in transit.

  • Create and track all aspects of new season schedules from design release through deliveries.

  • Launch the weekly MRP and monitor planning output to drive factory planning

  • Develop KPI’s for scheduling - Fill rates, schedule adherence, DC shortages, Safety stock accuracy in the DC.

  • Trouble shooting supply/ demand issues in the MRP

    Required:

  • In depth understanding of MRP logic and systems

  • Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal skills with the ability to explain your work accurately.

  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to present your research.

  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with management to exchange information influence and persuade.

  • Proficient skills required in solid problem solving, analytics, planning, organization, time management, and analysis.

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

  • The ability to work independently and within cross-functional team(s) in a fast-paced, high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

  • The ability to maintain confidential information and ability to work with deadlines.

  • Be a flexible, strategic team player with infallible integrity and ethical standards.

  • Be someone who strives for high performance and uses technical skills effectively with a demonstrated emphasis to detail and accuracy.

  • Possess the ability to multi-task and work in an organized, detailed manner under limited period and tight deadlines.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Physical labor is often necessary for 8 hours or more per day with breaks approximately every two hours including sitting, standing and walking.

  • Ability to input data (typing) into a computer for long periods.

    Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, etc.)

  • Experience with AX/ERP systems.

  • Six Sigma / lean exposure preferred

  • 5 years’ experience in a supply chain role
