Job Description

Assistant Production Manager assists plant management with planning and executing production schedules to meet customer demand. The role involves hiring, training, and managing production employees, ensuring quality, safety, and procedural standards are maintained.

Job Requirements

• 5 years of Food Manufacturing experience

• 2 years of supervision experience

• English fluency, Spanish preferred

• Bachelor Degree preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production management to meet production requirements and customer demand while minimizing labor expenses.

• Review production schedule, complete work orders, and maintain updated ERP system; complete and generate reports.

• Ensure all new employees receive necessary training, and provide regular feedback to line employees on their performance.

• Ensure compliance to all company policies, procedures, food safety requirements, and safety standards.

• Report quality issues to QA management.

• Respond efficiently to production issues including equipment failures, recipe questions, and non-compliance with standards.
