Summary Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure to support our production facilities and corporate operations. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, advanced troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive approach to network security and performance optimization. The Senior Network Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity and communication across the global network infrastructure, driving our commitment to operational excellence and technological innovation.
Essential Functions Design and implement advanced network solutions to support manufacturing and business operations across the various company locations/countries
Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability
Proactively identify and mitigate network security risks and vulnerabilities
Collaborate with IT and operational teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems and processes
Lead network-related projects and provide technical guidance to I.T. teams across the companys footprint
Conduct root cause analysis for network issues and implement long-term solutions
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our network infrastructure remains cutting-edge

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
In-depth understanding of network architecture, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
Extensive knowledge of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption methods.
Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex network issues.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for network management tasks.
Ability to design and implement scalable, reliable network solutions in a manufacturing environment.
Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
Minimum 6 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on large-scale enterprise environments required Extensive knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software required
Proven experience with network security principles and best practices in a manufacturing industry, or related industries,
